Come Along To The Notts County Pathway Academy Open Session

15 April 2015

Local youngsters are invited to attend an open session to learn about the NCPA on Thursday...

Notts County will hold a media launch on Thursday to introduce an exciting new venture that has been organised in association with Rolls-Royce Leisure – the Notts County Pathway Academy (NCPA).

The NCPA will offer 16-18 year old learners the opportunity to enjoy a first class education whilst working towards a route into professional football.

At least one individual on the scheme will be offered a full professional contract with Notts County at the end of the full educational programme, so this is a fantastic opportunity for youngsters to take their first steps into the world of professional football.

The NCPA will recruit young people from Nottingham and across the East Midlands who wish to pursue a career in Sport and Leisure, physiotherapy, sports nutrition, strength and conditioning, fitness instructor, personal training and sports coaching, plus many more.

North Notts College have been confirmed as the scheme’s educational partner, to ensure that the NCPA offers a continual development programme for 16-18 year olds, with a recognised qualification at the end of the course.

Ultimately, whether you are leaving school over the next few months or part way through another educational program, if you have ever dreamed of being a professional footballer, the Notts County Pathway Academy is without question the place for you to be.

If you would like to know more about the NCPA or want to have a look round the facilities, you are invited to come along to an open session from 3pm on Thursday (16 April) when there will be a chance to chat with coaches from Notts County FC and Rolls-Royce Leisure, as well as representatives of North Notts College.

Details of how to find Rolls-Royce Leisure’s Hucknall base can be found here.

The club will also be hosting an open day here at Meadow Lane on the evening of Tuesday 28 April, for those interested in learning more about the NCPA, with further details of that event to follow.

If you are interested in registering for the NCPA, please contact Jamie Brough at Rolls-Royce Leisure at jamie.brough@rrleisure.co.uk.
