Notts County have signed highly-rated young full back Jordan Cranston on an initial short-term deal until January.
Cranston, who came through the youth ranks alongside currently Notts loanee Zeli Ismail at Wolverhampton Wanderers, spent the end of last season on loan at Nuneaton Town, before reaching the end of his contract at Molineux.
The 21-year-old returned to Nuneaton last month on a non-contract basis but has now put pen-to-paper on a deal at Meadow Lane until January 2015.
Cranston has been given squad number 33 and has signed in time to feature in Tuesday night’s game against Mansfield Town in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, should he be selected.
