Cieron Keane Called Up To Republic Of Ireland Under-19s

6 September 2014

Notts County defender Cieron Keane has been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-19 squad for their match against Holland on Monday.

Keane, a product of the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth system, joined Notts in the summer and made his debut for the club against Colchester United last month.

The 18-year-old has now been added to Paul Doolin’s squad for the Under-19 international friendly against Holland at Tallaght Stadium on Monday night.

Keane becomes the fourth Notts player to be called up for international duty this week, alongside first team colleagues Roy Carroll (Northern Ireland) and Mustapha Dumbuya (Sierra Leone) and youth team prospect Kyle Symons (Northern Ireland Under-19s).

We will bring you a round-up of all of the players away on international duty next week here on the club’s official website.
