Goalscoring left winger Blair Adams is hoping to extend the great run on Tuesday night at Crewe…
Adams returned to action for the first team after injury and put the Magpies ahead in the first half against Chesterfield on Saturday.
The left-sided player stuck sweetly in the 15th minute and nearly scored a second shortly after.
The former Coventry player is hoping that Notts can now build on the form and earn more points against Crewe on Tuesday and Gillingham at the weekend.
He told Magpie Player: "I've worked on the position in training and I've played there before. I was quite happy to play there and doing a job for the team.
"It was good to get the early goal. I had a chance not long after, which would have made it a bit more comfortable. I was pleased it just went in, but they got the equaliser.
"All the lads were defending for their lives and it's a good point for us.
"It was a tough game, they are a good side on a good run, so we knew it was going to be a tough game.
"We managed to grab a point, stay unbeaten on the road. It's an excellent record and we need to build on it. If we can take the away form to Meadow Lane, we will be pushing up the table.
"There's no easy games in this league. We will recover, prepare and get ready for Tuesday's game at Crewe and we will be looking to pick up a point there."
