The Notts County Academy received the first donation of equipment from the Official Supporters’ Association…
A donation of £500 was made, with the money going towards a new gazebo for pitch-side medical treatment.
This means that the club's physios can attend to players promptly if injured, meanwhile a large number of footballs have also been purchased. They were immediately put into use this week during training.
Youth Team Co-ordinator Peter Jarvis praised the NCFCOSA: "The donation has been extremely well received by all of our coaching staff. We have bought a gazebo for pitch-side medical treatment at training and on match-days, and brand new footballs for every age group.
"Together with money put forwards by the club, we have managed to really improve the environment to make it look and feel more professional and fitting of a great football club like this.
"The NCFCOSA have worked tirelessly to support us in our pursuit of nurturing the club’s future generation of talent, many of which we have high hopes for. We can only hope that the OSA continues to grow and support us with our efforts."
The NCFCOSA are looking to raise more money to support the Academy through a prize draw, an open forum and disco and through every new membership.
