Striker Shaun Harrad is delighted to be back at Notts and amongst the goals…
The former Burton Albion forward scored his first goal on his return to Meadow Lane in Tuesday night's 3-0 win over Crewe and is hoping to score more as a thank you to the Magpies management team.
Harrad was without a club in the summer, but was delighted to be offered a chance with Notts and is aiming to repay the faith placed on him.
He told Magpie Player: "I don't think I've celebrated a goal as much as I did tonight. You could see what it meant to me.
"I am absolutely delighted to get the goal and the three points.
"I had family watching and I thought the fans were brilliant.
"I found out I was starting when I arrived and I am just delighted to be out there.
"I'm trying to take my chances when I'm needed, but it's just great to be back. It's brilliant to be here and I'm loving every moment.
"I never thought I would come back to Meadow Lane. I didn't have a club in the summer and I was chuffed to get something sorted.
"I've never questioned my own ability, I just needed someone to take a chance on me and I think I've repaid that so far and I'm looking to add more goals in my career."
