Head of Academy Coaching Mick Halsall is hoping with no first team game this weekend, that supporters come down and watch the Youth Team…
The Youth Team are in action against Lincoln City at Arnold Town's Eagle Valley Stadium with a 11am kick-off.
The squad will be looking to build on the impressive 4-2 away victory at Hartlepool United in September, but haven't had a game since due to being knocked out of the cup and the league programme.
Halsall told the Official Site: "The two week break has given us all a little time to regroup, but we've been very busy working down at Arnold.
"We've had time to assess what we've done up to now this season. We've not played too many games, but we can reflect and do some work on the training pitch and we can also give extra time for the lads who are recovering from knocks.
"Hopefully we will go into the game with a near-enough full strength squad and it will be interesting to see how we start, after the break, hopefully they won't be rusty.
"The lads know a lot about the players at Lincoln and we are all expecting them to be direct and physical, and as every game in this league, it will be a test.
"It might take us a little while to get into our stride."
The Academy have been boosted with the arrival of Paul Hart as Acting Academy Manager and Halsall believes everyone in the department is learning a lot from him already.
He said: "We've had a massive boost with Paul joining the department and we are learning a lot from him.
"He's got so much experience and expertise and it's been really interesting and terrific for us all.
"I'd like to think the boys and the staff have enjoyed his company too, we obviously don't know how long he will be with us, but his knowledge to detail has been fantastic in the short space of time.
"It will be good to see if the boys have taken it on board and implement those little things in the game."
Fans can come down and watch the future of the club at the Eagle Valley Stadium on Saturday morning for free.
Halsall added: "It would be great to see the fans down there and make their way to Arnold. I'm sure all the staff and players would really appreciate it."
Kyle Symons (international duty) and Jack McMillan (illness) are the only two players missing out on the squad this weekend.
