Notts boss Shaun Derry is expecting another tough game against the Irons on Saturday…
The Magpies face bottom of the table Scunthorpe United, but he expects a difficult game this weekend, despite Notts sitting fifth in the league on a ten game unbeaten run.
Notts will be looking for a sixth win in a row, but the management know leaving Lincolnshire with a result will be a challenge.
He told Magpie Player: "Looking at the league and the results of late, everyone can beat everyone.
"Crewe for example, they are on a run, three on the bounce and they beat Peterborough the other night, that's why we don't take things for granted.
"This league incredibly close from top to bottom.
"We will embrace the next group of games and I'm delighted where we are at the minute.
"Now we need to carry on this run and see where it takes us.
"For the short term, we are taking it game-by-game, and we know if it's anything like the JPT match, it will be a difficult afternoon.
"I'm hoping we have learnt our lessons defensively in the past two games, but I was delighted with our comeback and how we managed to stay in the game despite not playing well."
Derry also added that Shaun Harrad is in the process of discussions for a longer deal, whilst fellow striker Jake Cassidy is set to miss out on the squad with a toe injury.
