Noble: Spirits Are High In The Dressing Room

3 October 2014

Midfielder Liam Noble has praised the spirit in the camp…

The former Carlisle United has been a key component to Notts' climb up the table already this season and he's hoping the unbeaten run can continue on Saturday.

The 23-year-old is hoping to keep hold of his place in the starting 11, but admits there's plenty of competition in the squad.

He told Magpie Player: "It's been a very good start to the season, we are in the right position and we are all looking forward to Saturday.

"The atmosphere is brilliant in the camp and that includes the likes of Jimmy Spencer who isn't playing at the minute. He comes in with a smile on his face, he's a great character to have around the place.

"The spirits high when we are doing well and we are digging out results and doing well.

"I think I'm doing alright, I'm trying to keep my place in the team which is hard because you are always looking over your shoulder. I need to be at the top of my game if I want to stay in the team because there's a lot of good players in the squad."
