Petrasso: We Switched Off And It's Disappointing

23 November 2014

Winger Michael Petrasso was disappointed not to get a result…

On-loan forward Petrasso put the Magpies ahead, despite only having ten men after Gary Jones' red card, but Yeovil Town scored twice late on to take home the three points.

The 2-1 defeat means Notts drop down to sixth in the table, but the QPR loanee is already looking ahead to the next game.

He told Magpie Player: "We are all very disappointed with the result. We will bounceback, but at the moment we are hurting. We will be back up for the next game that's for sure.

"When I scored, it was nervous afterwards, the goal doesn't mean much after that. We should have hung on.

"I thought I finished it well. I of course love scoring, but I would have been happier with a win or a point to get them on the board.

"The first twenty minutes I was getting fouled a lot and that was their tactic, I won a lot of fouls, which is disappointing. That's the game, that's football.

"We got to the changing room after and the result sunk in after the teamtalk, going a man down it was difficult, but to take the lead and losing, it hurts, it's disappointing. We defended well, but we switched off and it's very disappointing."
