Ninth Annual Selection Box Appeal

13 November 2014

The club are calling on fans to donate chocolate for children at the QMC this Christmas…

It's that time of year where the football club calls on supporters to help kids less fortunate than ourselves.

The appeal is now in it's ninth year and is organised by lifelong fan Rob Bristol.

He told the Official Site: "I'm sure the club's great band of supporters will prove once again that when it comes to caring for others, they are the best.

"By donating selection box to the club shop, we can bring a smile on the face's of many unfortunate children, who find themselves spending their Christmas in the cancer wards, cystic fibrosis wards and various other wards at Nottingham's Queens Medical Centre.

"As the appeal nears it's ninth year, the generosity shown by the supporters has, to say the least, been staggering and on behalf of the children, their families, and staff at the QMC, I thank you from the heart.

"Let us make Christmas 2014 extra special for the children, whilst raising the profile of Notts County Football Club in the process."

Fans can bring in selection boxes to the club shop throughout the winter months ahead of the visit to the QMC in December.
