McLaughlin: Hoping Fine Form Continues

14 November 2014

Winger Stephen McLaughlin will return to the squad this weekend…

The on-loan wide man missed Notts' cup tie at home to Accrington Stanley on Sunday, but will be back available for this weekend's fixture away to Coventry City.

The Forest player has been in fine form since his arrival in September with six assists and a goal to his name.

He's now hoping that form continues on Saturday at the Ricoh Arena.

He told Magpie Player: "I'm enjoying it here and I'm getting football every week, I think the move suits me.

"Regular football for my age is vital and to help me improve my game. I'm still learning and I'm sure that will help me when I do return.

"Being on loan here is so easy for me, I didn't have to move and I can concentrate on the football.

"I'm in great form and I put that down to playing more. Game after game is key and hopefully I can continue that run by adding assists and stay up the table.

"This Saturday will be a tough game. I'm not expecting it to be a pretty game and we need to win the battle first and then show our class, but I'm expecting it will be tough.

"Hopefully I'm back in the side and we come away with the right result."
