Striker Shaun Harrad has signed a new deal to keep him at Meadow Lane…
Notts County Football Club are delighted to announce that the 29-year-old has put pen to paper in an extended deal until the end of the campaign.
The number 31 has scored twice this season with goals against Crewe Alexandra and Gillingham.
The Nottingham-born forward started his career with the Magpies in 2002, coming through the youth ranks and has impressed this season with his work-rate and determination in matches.
He told the Official Site: "I'm obviously delighted. It's great that it's sorted and my immediate future is secure, I just want to push on now and keep doing what we are doing and that's winning games.
"And hopefully forcing myself back in the side, which is proving difficult with Garry Thompson in such great form.
"It's exciting times to be part of it. The Manager and everyone here have been so supportive to me and I'm really enjoying my football again.
"If the Gaffer needs me from the start or towards the end, then I will put a shift in and always give 100%. There's certainly exciting times ahead."
Harrad could feature this evening as he is included in the squad ahead of FA Cup First Round replay against Accrington Stanley.
