Nathan Tyson hopes to extend his loan deal with Notts County, as he wants to finish the job of helping the Magpies to stay in Sky Bet League 1.
Tyson has made five appearances for the Magpies since signing a one-month loan deal from Championship Blackpool earlier this month.
The striker’s loan deal is set to expire following this weekend’s game against Colchester United but has become fully invested in helping Notts complete The Great Escape.
“We’ve had a small discussion and I would like to extend my deal here,” said Tyson in an interview with #themag.
“I don’t want to go back to Blackpool if I’m honest as I don’t want to leave this job half done.
“I want to go out there and help the team here because they don’t deserve to be down there where we are.
“If they keep putting the performances in and putting the hard graft in, I want to be a part of that.”
