Notts County Football Club can confirm that defender Kieron Freeman has returned to Derby County.
Freeman’s loan reached the 92-day limit across two spells this term, which included 17 appearances across all competitions.
Manager Shaun Derry is now looking to bring in another loan player to help with the Magpies fight for Sky Bet League 1 survival.
He said: “We need players and I’ve got my eye on players this week.
“I’m hoping everyone’s aware that we can only have five loans in the side so it was pointless bringing someone in ahead of the Rotherham game.
“Obviously Kieron’s gone back to Derby and I’m looking for a replacement for him.”
Notts are next in action against Leyton Orient at Meadow Lane.
