Notts County Lifeline Supporting Team NCFC Ahead Of Their Prostate Cancer UK Challenge

5 June 2014

Notts County Lifeline has thrown its support behind Team NCFC - Notts County’s representatives in the Prostate Cancer UK charity ride.

Ian Orton and Keith Stewart will represent Notts County on the 150-mile journey from capital to capital as Team NCFC, with the aim of raising money for the Football League’s Official Charity Partner and helping more men survive prostate cancer.

Lifeline was a supporter of Ben Armstrong, who represented the club in the 2013 London To Amsterdam Cycle Challenge, and jumped on board in supporting Ian and Keith in this year’s ride.

£100 has been donated to each of the Team NCFC riders, who have raised over £3,000 for PCUK so far.

Lifeline Co-ordinator Lynn Lawson said: “Prostate Cancer UK is a fantastic charity to support.

“We like to donate some money to charities each year and it’s also the Football League charity.

“We’re right behind it and we just want to give a little bit and it all helps.”

Team NCFC captain Ian added: “The Lifeline guys have donated a very generous amount to us and we’re extremely grateful for that.

“It really does motivate you to get on and complete the ride.”
