Hayden Mullins Pens Notts County Contract After Leaving Birmingham City

5 June 2014

As exclusively revealed to members of The Bench, Notts County Football Club is delighted to welcome Hayden Mullins back to Meadow Lane on a one-year contract.

Mullins was hugely impressive for the Magpies in a defensive role after signing on loan from the Blues at the back end of last term.

The centre-back played 16 games and forged a strong partnership with Haydn Hollis at the heart of defence to help Notts complete The Great Escape.

Mullins’ performances caught the attention of Birmingham and he was recalled to help Lee Clark’s side pull off a dramatic Great Escape of their own in the Championship with two more reliable showings.

County boss Shaun Derry had made no secret of his desire to sign the 35-year-old this summer and it comes as another positive boost for the club ahead of the 2014.15 campaign.
