This week’s Throwback Thursday looks back at a classic encounter between Notts County and Mansfield Town at Field Mill.
With the sides set to meet in a pre-season friendly this weekend, we thought we’d dig out an unforgettable moment from a lively encounter at the home of the Stags.
On 7 October 2006, the Magpies had been 2-0 down following a Danny Reet double but Mike Edwards gave Notts hope in the 71st minute.
This brings us to our photo - Lawrie Dudfield’s 86th minute leveller, which prompted buoyant celebrations in front of the away end.
