Notts County FC Seeks Volunteer To Help Connect Fans To Club

23 July 2014

Notts County is looking to appoint a Supporter Liaison Officer on a voluntary basis...

This role has been introduced by all professional football clubs throughout Europe.

Under UEFA Club Licensing Regulations, Clubs across Europe are required to appoint a Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) to ensure proper and constructive discourse between the Club and its supporters. The introduction of this UEFA licensing requirement constitutes a new landmark in Club– Supporter relations and emphasises the importance which UEFA attaches to dialogue and communication between the Club and supporters.

This is a valuable and challenging appointment for an individual who has the long term interests of the Club and its supporters at heart and possesses the attributes and skills comparable with the duties involved.

Notts County is already extremely proactive in engaging with its supporters through the Notts County FC Official Supporters’ Association (NCFCOSA) and the creation of the SLO role offers an additional channel of communication which will enhance the existing fan engagement.

Applications for the post should be submitted in writing with attached CV to Chantelle Gibson, HR Manager, Notts County FC, Meadow Lane, Nottingham, NG2 3HJ or by email hr@nottscountyfc.co.uk

The closing date for applications is Monday 4 August 2014.
