With two more Notts County legends set to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, make sure you mark the occasion…
Former strike duo Tommy Lawton and Jackie Sewell will join the club’s all-time greatest manager Jimmy Sirrell in the Hall of Fame ahead of the Magpies’ encounter with Sheffield United this weekend.
To celebrate the occasion, the club shop has a number of must-have items in store, including the following:
Arguably the most famous player to ever don the Black and White stripes, Tommy has his own t-shirt, which has been flying off the racks.
The forward’s autobiography tells a story of the unsung hero who was once transferred from Notts to Sheffield Wednesday for a world-record fee and was known as a fooballer who was ‘worth his weight in gold.’ The story delves into Sewell’s work in Africa, establishing coaching programmes and also why England were famously defeated by Hungary at Wembley.
The famous white shirt with a distinctive black ‘NCFC’ badge. A timeless classic, make sure you show off an unforgettable top from the history of the World’s Oldest Football League Club.
Written by Tom Lawton junior and Barrie Williams, it is a fantastic story of the life of global superstar Tommy Lawton. The book tells a moving story of one of the club’s all-time legends and is certainly a must-buy for any Notts fan.
You can pick up all of these items from the club shop this weekend or online via www.theclubshop.co.uk/nottscounty.
