16-18-year-olds considering whether to enrol on the Notts County FC Futsal and Education Scholarship can experience first hand what the course is all about.
Students on the Futsal and Education Scholarship play in a professional Futsal league, whilst receiving a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport.
The course, which currently sees 34 scholars enrolled, will enter its third year in September (2014) and lasts two years.
On Tuesday 18 February, Notts County Football in the Community will be holding the following activities to give prospective students a chance to preview the course:
Futsal Taster Session @ Portland Leisure Centre: 3pm-4.45pm
Tour of Facilities @ Portland Leisure Centre: 5pm-5.30pm
Presentation with Q&A Session @ Meadow Lane (Wheeler’s Suite): 5.45pm-6.45pm
Tour of Facilities @ Portland Leisure Centre: 7pm-7.30pm
Do not worry if you cannot make all three components on the day, as the Football in the Community staff will bring you up to speed.
