New Year Loan Update

30 December 2014

The Official Site looks at the latest movement in and out of Meadow Lane…

It's sure to be a busy January with players already returning to their parent clubs after their loan periods ended.

Michael Petrasso has returned to Queens Park Ranger after being called up by Canada Under 20s and therefore missing his final game whilst on loan with the Magpies, against Bristol City on January 10th.

The winger played 12 times for Notts, scoring three times, including a second half brace in the 3-2 victory at Barnsley and a goal infront of the Kop against Yeovil Town in November.

Fellow winger Stephen McLaughlin has also returned to his parent club, after he played his final game against Bradford City at the weekend.

The Nottingham Forest player turned out 16 times for Notts, scoring once against Scunthorpe United in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Striker Jake Cassidy's period at Meadow Lane has effectively ended too as his loan ends on January 4th and with no Notts game this coming weekend, he has returned to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Cassidy played 20 times, scoring four goals, including an opening day strike at Preston North End, a JPT goal against Mansfield Town and a double at Crewe Alexandra's Gresty Road in September.

That leaves just one loan player remaining at Meadow Lane, in Rotherham United winger Ryan Hall. His loan ends on January 10th when Notts travel to Ashton Gate to take on Bristol City.

Returning to the squad are youngsters Greg Tempest and Kyle Dixon, who have been temporary playing for Boston United. Both have impressed, with the Pilgrims keen to keep the pair.

And finally striker Tyrell Waite and Fabien Spiess' loans end at Lincoln City and Bristol Rovers on January 4th and January 1st respectively.

The club would like to thank all returning loanees for their effort and commitment during their time at Meadow Lane.

Keep an eye on the Official Site for all the latest transfer news throughout the New Year.
