Striker Jimmy Spencer is making good strides with his rehab...
Spencer was injured in the first game of pre-season against Arnold Town back in July, but five months on he's back running.
County's number nine injured his anterior cruciate ligament in his right leg and will miss the whole campaign, but the Yorkshireman isn't downhearted.
He told the Official Site: "It's going well. I've got my head over it and it was a real battle mentally to start with.
"The fact that it's happened and I'm out for the season was tough, but I'm running now and after Christmas into next year I will be back out on the pitch running, so there's plenty to look forward to.
"Hopefully it's all forward from now on and it's exciting as the end is coming nearer and nearer.
"All this handwork is leading to get out there, so it's exciting times.
"Day-to-day I am doing work on my balance, changing my footwork and how I approach a ball, because this injury can't happen again to me basically.
"And I'm doing muscle work in the gym, running on a high-tech treadmill at 60% body weight. It takes off the stress off my knee and keeps my fitness going.
"I'd like to thank again all the medical staff here. They are brilliant. It was tough at times because my head was all over the place, but it's Lizzie Read, who is our therapist, I'm with them all day and they are superb.
"They are setting targets every day and every week, but it's Lizzie who has to put up with me mainly. A big thank you to her.
"I would love to be back playing this season, the final few games, that's my target, but would it be worth risking it and waiting until pre-season. It's a decision I'm looking forward to making.
"The lads on the pitch are doing great on the pitch. It's very frustrating watching, but I just can't wait to get on that pitch next year. It's the best team spirit I've been in and I'm confident they can carry on doing the business."

The club would also like to wish the striker a Happy Birthday today!
