MATCH REPORT 
Notts County were knocked out of the Capital One Cup by Sheffield Wednesday following a 3-0 defeat at Hillsborough. Although Notts worked hard, the Championship outfit displayed plenty of quality and booked their place in Round 2 with goals fromJacques Maghoma (2), Gary Madine (10) and Atdhe Nuhui (65). READ MORE

Notts boss Shaun Derry said: "It was a disappointing night and disappointing in the manner of which we conceded the goals more importantly. 

“I’ve always said to the lads that they’re going to encounter disappointments along the way but it’s how you react and I’m definitely looking for the right reaction on Saturday." READ MORE

Manager Stuart Gray said: “First and foremost I am pleased to get the win. We are in the hat for the next round and that’s what matters at this stage. 

“I could sense in the warm-up that the players were at it and full credit to them because they put a real shift in and got their rewards." READ MORE
