Notts County have swooped to sign Leicester City winger Adam Dawson on a one-month emergency loan.
Dawson has spent pre-season with the Magpies squad and has been officially added to the ranks ahead of the 2014.15 Sky Bet League 1 opener with Preston North End.
The tricky midfielder spent his Academy years with Liverpool and Bury, before signing his first professional contract with Wigan Athletic.
A loan spell with Accrington Stanley provided his first taste of Football League action, before he gained further experience in non-league with the likes of Bacup Borough, FC United of Manchester, Barrow and Nelson.
After a successful trial with Leicester City, Dawson returned to the Football League and impressed during his first season.
Having seen his contract renewed by the Premier League new boys, Dawson will be aiming to send a message back to his parent club by making a name for himself at Sky Bet League 1 level in the Black and White stripes.
The 21-year-old will wear the number 25 jersey at Meadow Lane.
