Former Captain John Thompson returns on Sunday, August 31 as the club’s special guest and will be entertaining sponsors and supporters in the Wheeler’s Suite before the game...
The former Republic of Ireland international spent three seasons at Meadow Lane, famously lifting the League Two trophy as captain in 2010 and also in the same year helping the side reach the fifth round of the FA Cup.
He also played for Nottingham Forest and Mansfield Town before retiring due to injury in 2013.
