The Youth Team have been given a welcome boost.
The Youth Team face Hull City this Saturday at the club’s training base at Arnold Town with an 11am kick-off and the squad have been given a boost on the injury front.
Halsall told the Official Site: “I’m expecting a tough game, of course a Premier League outfit and they will have plenty of ability and better players because of their first team. It will be a good test.
“It’s great to have players returning back to fitness. Full-back Jordan Richards and Kyle Symons are nearing 100 percent and it’s good to see.
“It means the likes of Lartey Sarpong, who has done really well filling in, can return to their normal positions. It’s always important to have a number of second year experience within the teams at this level."
The young Magpies currently sit mid-table after two score draws this campaign, meanwhile City will be refreshed after no league fixtures so far.
