White Deal Falls Through

1 April 2014

Ellen White to remain solely focused on Notts County Ladies

Notts County regret to announce that the deal that would have seen Ellen White sign a pioneering joint deal with both the men’s and women’s teams has broken down, as it was little more than an April Fool’s prank.

As some were quick to spot, the timing of the story was key, with hints to this in Ellen’s quotes within the story, where she claimed to be “no fool” and made reference to “today of all days”.

You will be able to catch Ellen in a Notts County shirt, when the new ladies’ season begins later this month. Their first game is at home to Coventry City in the FA Cup, on Sunday 13 April, kick-off 3pm.

Tickets for that game are available online at: www.nclfc.co.uk/tickets.html or in person on the day, priced at £6 for adults and £3 for all concessions, whilst season tickets for the 2014 campaign are still available priced at £30 for adults and just £10 for children.

We hope that we managed to catch some of you out, but it’s back to business as usual and all focus is on this weekend’s Sky Bet League 1 trip to high-flying Brentford. Tickets for that game are still on sale at the Notts County Ticket Office or online at www.nottscountydirect.co.uk
