Notts County Lifeline Hits £65,000 In Donations

30 April 2014

Notts County Lifeline has made another significant donation to the club, which takes the total for 2014 up to an impressive £65,000.

Lifeline handed over £25,000 to club director Aileen Trew – made possible by 2,000 members of the scheme, who pay £2 a week to enter a weekly draw for cash prizes as high as £10,000.

Lifeline coordinator Lynn Lawson (pictured left) was pleased to cap off the final matchday at Meadow Lane for 2013.14 with such an impressive handover.

She told the official site: “Every donation makes a big difference at the club and we were pleased to be able to sign the latest five-figure cheque.

“Last year we donated £120,000 and we’re well on our way to meeting that amount thanks to the support of our great fans.

“Lifeline will continue to flourish during the summer months where we will be handing out more cash prizes to our supporters.

“The draw is not only making a difference at the club, but to the lives of Notts fans every year.”

Look out for a special bonus prize draw during the summer, with full details to be announced here on the official site.
