Notts County Easter Egg Appeal 2014

8 April 2014

The Notts County squad will be making their annual visit to Nottingham Children’s Hospital this Easter to deliver chocolate eggs to those in care over the holidays.

Every Christmas and Easter, the players and management staff deliver chocolate and gifts donated by Magpies fans to lift the spirits of the children in the hospital.

This year’s visit will take place on Tuesday 15 April, meaning that County fans have plenty of time to get those Easter Eggs handed in to the club shop.

Notts fan Rob Bristol, who is behind the visits, has thanks the Black and White Army for their continued support of the appeal over the years.

He said: “What also makes our fans stand out above all others is the continued generosity that is shown at Christmas and Easter.

“Their kindness helps to brighten up the days of the unfortunate children suffering from, amongst others, cancer, cystic fibrosis and related conditions.

“I assure everybody who has supported these appeals that both the club and all at the hospital genuinely appreciate what you achieve.

“As always, many thanks in advance because without your great support this appeal would not be the resounding success that it has become.”
