Non-League Football Day

5 September 2013

Non-League Day, the campaign to promote semi-professional and grass roots football, returns this weekend for a fourth consecutive season.

With the game against Leyton Orient being cancelled this weekend it is seen as in ideal opportunity for supporters to see Radford, Arnold Town, Radcliffe Olympic and Eastwood Town in action.

Speaking of this year’s event, campaign manager Mike Bayly advised: “Whether you’re a Premier League or Championship fan without a game, a League 1 or League 2 supporter who can’t make an away trip, or just someone who is curious about what their local club has to offer, there is sure to be something to interest everyone."

Many clubs will be holding special events and price incentives on the day, including fundraising for local and national causes.
