Gary Liddle has every belief that the Magpies can turn around their winless start to the Sky Bet League 1 campaign this weekend.
Notts face Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off), following an extended break due to international call-ups.
After five matches, County currently sit bottom of the division but were lifted last Tuesday by a Johnstone’s Paint Trophy triumph over Burton Albion.
Liddle is determined to hold onto that winning feeling and sees no reason why the team cannot return from stadiummk with three points in the bag.
“I feel like we’ve been unfortunate with the injuries and suspensions and we haven’t played well enough as well – there are no excuses,” he said.
“I’m confident we can turn it around and it’s important that we do, because we need to keep the fans on side.
“I know they’re frustrated – I’m as frustrated as they are, as are the rest of the lads – but it’s important that we get a win for them more than anything.
“They’re all tough games and there’s no point in looking at the fixture list and pointing out where you think you can get three points.
“Every game is winnable and every game is losable and we go into each game thinking that there’s three points that we can win.
“Whether it be Sheffield United away, MK Dons away or whoever, we’re going into it to win, that’s for sure.”
