Manager Chris Kiwomya and players Gary Liddle and Mark Fotheringham visited The Mercure Hotel to promote the beginning of the club’s partnership on Monday.
The hotel, formerly known as the George Hotel, was the location where members of the club’s staff discussed the foundation in Room 102.
The partnership will now see supporters given a chance to win prizes by voting for their Player of the Month throughout the 2013.14 season, look out for details on the Official Site very soon.
Sales and Marketing Consultant Hollie Rowson-Dilks was delighted with the link and told the Official Site: “It’s fantastic to see the club connecting with thriving businesses in the city centre, such as The Mercure Hotel.
“Obviously the building holds special significance for the club and it’s great to have the players and manager attend to hand over a signed shirt today and meet supporters.
“It’s great to see local people and schools here showing their support for Notts and the partnership with The Mercure Hotel.
“I’m sure it will be the start of a great partnership where supporters can help choose their Player of the Month and then win prizes.”
Mercure Nottingham’s Sales & Marketing Consultant from Experience Engine Ajay Kawa added: “We are excited with the new partnership with Notts County, bringing history back to life in modern times!”
