Magpies’ Fight For Crowd Return

4 October 2013

First team manager Chris Kiwomya says that the Magpies aim to give a bumper crowd plenty of reasons to keep coming back to Meadow Lane.

Notts supporters can gain reduced entry for Saturday’s Sky Bet League 1 meeting with Crewe Alexandra (£10 for adults and £1 for under 16s) and an increased attendance is expected.

County have delivered much improved performances in the past two weeks and the team head into the weekend in a confident mood.

Kiwomya wants his side to put on a show that will entice the Black & White Army to keep turning out in force for home fixtures – but at the top of the priorities list is three points.

He told the press: “We’ve got to be able to get the fans back in and it’s up to myself and the players to do that.

“It’s been good for the club to reduce the tickets and hopefully the fans will come down.

“We have to give them something to shout about and hopefully we can put on a performance.

“The consistency is what we’re looking for and if we can play like we did against Carlisle but take the chances I think the fans will be happy.”

He added: “We’ve got to understand that when we play this good football it’s about winning and I’ve got to remind them about that each day.”
