Two Indonesian Juventus fans made the journey to Meadow Lane last Saturday and they can both confirm that the Magpies really do play like the Italian Giants!
Arief Ilham Ramadhan and his girlfriend Utamy Laksita watched on from the Derek Pavis Stand on their final day in the country, after studying in the UK throughout the past year at Leeds and Middlesex respectively.
They chose a great day to attend, as the Magpies recorded their third home win on the spin and delivered arguably their best performance of the season in a 4-0 triumph over Crewe Alexandra.
Arief told the official site: “Due to close relationship historically between Juve and Notts, we decided we must go to a match before leaving to go back to Indonesia at the weekend.
“Since the very first time I landed in the UK, it's been my intention to watch Notts live, the club that is so close to the heart of people who are traditionally support Juventus.
“Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed the match and I am happy that Notts could manage to win with such a big margin over Crewe.
“It was really like watching Juve!”
He added: “I really hope to see Notts to play in higher level in near future.
“I'd love to see Notts to compete in Premier League and Champions League one day!”
Everyone at the club would like to Arief and Utamy for their support at the weekend and hope to see them back at Meadow Lane in the very near future.
