Notts County Football Club's Academy are delighted to announce that they have secured three players on a long term contract that keeps them registered until the end of their Under 16 season.

The decision came after all three had made impressive starts to this season, after showing significant developments over the past couple of years.

Owen Newell, Owen Betts and Tyreece Kennedy-Williams are all a part of the Under 13 squad and Academy Coach Dan Leivers was delighted with the news.

He told the Official Site: "We had made this decision at the end of last season, but we felt we wanted to wait to see how they start to progress this season at 11-a-side football.

"All three of them have made real progress over the last couple of years and have also been showing the correct attitude and work ethic to go alongside their talent."

The club were pleased to reward the boys for their efforts and are looking forward to seeing the boys progress through the age groups and potentially into Scholarships and the First Team in the future.

This is another step in the right direction for the club in helping to produce talented footballers for the First Team and we hope more players can follow in the footsteps of current first team players such as Greg Tempest, Curtis Thompson and Fabian Spiess in the future.
