Notts County Football Club is delighted to announce that defender Kieron Freeman has returned to the club, having agreed a loan move from Championship outfit Derby County.
Freeman had previously enjoyed an impressive spell at Meadow Lane in 2011.12, during his time as a Nottingham Forest player, and becomes boss Shaun Derry's first signing.
The Nottingham-born full-back played 19 games and scored one goal, as the Magpies experienced a tremendous run of form and narrowly missed out on the Play-Offs.
Freeman also picked up the League 1 Young Player of the Month award for February 2012 and understandably became a favourite with the County faithful.
As a result of his consistent displays in the Black and White stripes throughout his previous stint, the 21-year-old’s arrival will no doubt be greatly welcomed ahead of a crucial run of fixtures.
Freeman, who will wear the number 24 jersey, is available for tonight’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy encounter with Oldham Athletic.
