Notts County Football Club was delighted to raise a significant amount of money for Indigo Kids at the annual staff match.
A team of club employees and a few retired professionals, including chief executive Jim Rodwell, former Aston Villa and Stoke City striker Martin Carruthers and County legend Ian Richardson, took on a team from New College Nottingham.
The Magpies came out on top with a 6-4 victory at Meadow Lane but the most impressive figure was the £550 gathered from player subs, admission fees and a well-supported raffle.
Indigo Kids is a support group for children with autism or social and communication difficulties, their parents and siblings.
