Notts County youth team continued their fantastic run of form with another comprehensive showing away at Rotherham United.
The young Magpies claimed a 5-0 win on Saturday, which youth team coach Brett Adams described as a “perfect counter attacking performance”.
Malachi Lavelle-Moore, Mitchell Clarke and Kyle Dixon registered ahead of the break, before second half substitute Romello Nangle struck twice in the second half.
Adams was, again, pleased with his side, as they made it nine wins in their last 13 games.
He told the official site: “We did very well against a good passing team.
“We were delighted with the commitment and everything about the performance.
“It was great to see another clean sheet and it was important to get another three points before a break in the fixtures.”
He added: “We won’t have a full weekend off, because we want to stay sharp with more tough games and a Semi-Final coming up.
“We’ve got an eye on third place so you never know where we can finish if we can keep putting the wins together.”
