School’s Out For Easter

18 March 2013

With Easter just around the corner it’s a time to remind everyone about our fantastic school holiday programme, School’s Out...

The popular £1 sports activities scheme will be back again from Tuesday 2 April – Friday 12 April (excluding weekends).

To save parents having to fork out a small fortune for private childcare or having to take time off work for two weeks, School’s Out allows parents to save their holiday leave for the summer and provide them with an affordable alternative.

8 to 15-year-old children come to us from all over Nottingham to take part in the project.

From 9am until 3pm, they are engaged in a variety of activities, ranging from football to arts and crafts and even board games.

Swimming is also available at an extra charge for those who want to improve their swimming and play games in the pool.

The project has a great reputation in Nottingham and many children return day after day, holiday after holiday to get involved and stay active.

You will be able to pre-book your child a place on the project from Monday 25 March by calling the Nottingham City Leisure Centre hotline on: 0115 8761 600.

Venues will include Southglade Leisure Centre (Top Valley), Portland Leisure Centre (Meadows), John Carroll Leisure Centre (Radford), Clifton Leisure Centre (Clifton) and Minver Crescent Sports Centre* (Broxtowe).

Join and check our facebook.com/NottsCountyFITC and twitter @NottsCountyFITC page for more updates and details.

You can also call us on 0115 9557 215 or email info@nottscountyfitc.org.uk.

*Please note you will not be able to pre-book a place at the Minver Crescent site. Turning up early on the day is advisable to avoid disappointment.
