ML Classroom Gets Makeover

20 March 2013

Special guests from the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) and two ex-players were present for the launch of the newly refurbished classroom at Meadow Lane.

PFA representatives Paul Raven and Dave Palmer, along with ex-players Les Bradd and Kevin Bartlett, were present to officially re-open the learning facility.

The PFA & Union Learning fund project Achievement through Sport is supporting community programmes to deliver adult learning projects.

This support is by way of financial contribution of £5,000 towards IT equipment and the provision of a PFA learning representative, Martin Carruthers, who will help raise interest in training and development through sport at Notts County Football Club.

Football in the Community and the PFA have a long history of working together on community projects as well as supporting our players with their community commitment.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at the PFA for their continued backing.
