Bart Won’t Give Up

13 March 2013

Bartosz Bialkowski will not give up hope of reaching the Play-Offs until it is mathematically impossible.

Notts’ top six hopes suffered a huge blow on Tuesday night, after a 1-0 defeat to Preston North End that left the team nine points off the leading pack.

Although breaking into the Play-Off places is a big ask, Bialkowski is determined to keep fighting in the remaining eight matches.

“We’ve still got a chance, obviously, so we’re not going to give up but we need to start winning games, it’s as simple as that,” the County number one told the press.

“It wasn’t good enough on Tuesday night and we didn’t create a lot of chances – maybe one or two we should have tucked in but that’s football.

“We just need to concentrate on every game to give our best of ourselves and start grinding the results out if we want to achieve something.

“I want to be successful and I came to the team in the summer because I believed we had a good enough squad to compete and to go up."

He concluded: “At the beginning of the season, everyone was enjoying it and buzzing.

“I don’t know if something’s changed but we need to sort it out quickly.”
