Check out the exclusive interview with coach Dean Austin in Tuesday night's edition of #themag.
Austin arrived at Meadow Lane last month as part of Chris Kiwomya's backroom team and his input has helped the Magpies to build up a seven-match unbeaten run.
The former Southend United, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace defender is currently with the Magpies until the end of the season.
Austin is not even thinking about life beyond the 2012.13 campaign and has placed his full focus on preparing the players, as they strive for the npower League 1 Play-Offs.
“I don’t ever look too far ahead because football’s not a long-term game," he told #themag.
“It’s an old cliché but you work day-to-day, game-to-game and week-to-week, if you like.
"If you’re winning games you’re safe and if you’re not winning games you’re not safe.
“I’ve come in with Chris and we’ve been given the gig until the end of the season.
"The way I see it is that we’ve got to win as many games as we can between now and then.
“I will do my very, very best for Notts County and I will do my very, very best for Chris Kiwomya, because he’s a top guy.
"What will be after that, will be, as I’m a great believer in fate and what’s meant to be and we’ll take it from there.”
The full-length interview, which also covers Austin's journey into coaching, his Meadow Lane aims and much more, can be read in the Preston North End edition of #themag, which will be available at a price of just £3.
