Notts County’s game away to Swindon Town has been moved to Friday 18 October, at the request of the home side.
With the provisional 2013.14 fixture list for League 1 released on Wednesday morning, clubs have until Friday 28 June to make any necessary alterations and have been studying the schedule to see where changes may have to be made.
Swindon contacted Notts on Friday to request the move of our fixture at the County Ground, which was originally due to take place on Saturday 19 October, and, in agreement with the Manager and Board, the club have accepted the rearranged date, with the game now due to kick-off at 7:45pm on the Friday night.
It was confirmed earlier this week that our opening game of the season, away to Sheffield United, had also been moved, to Friday 2 August, for television coverage as part of a special opening weekend of selected fixtures to mark the Football League’s 125th anniversary.
Any further changes to the schedule will be confirmed here on the club’s official website as soon as they have been agreed between both clubs.
