2013.14 is all about progression for up and coming midfielder Curtis Thompson.
Thompson, 19, broke into the first team squad at the back end of the season and impressed greatly in his two appearances.
The youth team graduate earned a new deal at Meadow Lane with some strong showings on the right side of midfield and is looking forward to making a bigger impact following the summer break.
He said: "I hope to be playing a lot more next season and I hope it can be a big year for me.
"I want to play at least 10 games and if I manage that I'll be happy.
"I'm excited and I'm looking forward to the new season and I'm just delighted to have a new deal.
"I've improved as a player and been involved a lot more since Chris [Kiwomya] took over.
"He wants me to keep fit over the summer and work as hard as possible to get into the team.
"I'll be working hard to be ready for pre-season and there's a lot of hard work to come.
"As long as I'm playing, whether it's on the right side of midfield or right-back, I don't mind - I just want to be involved.
"At the end of the two years, the best thing would be to be starting every week and if I can manage that it'd be great."
