Winger Haworth Flies Into Meadow Lane

1 July 2013

Notts County Football Club is delighted to announce that winger Andy Haworth has put pen-to-paper on a six-month deal.

The 24-year-old tricky wideman started his career at Blackburn Rovers, before moving on loan to Rochdale, where he helped them gain promotion to League 1.

Bury secured his services in 2010 and he went on to make 46 league appearances, scoring three times before moving on loan to Oxford United and Bradford City.

Last season, Haworth headed north to Scottish First Division side Falkirk but later returned to Spotland at the beginning of 2013, where he went on to make a further seven appearances.

Haworth is comfortable on either side of the pitch and will add further options to first team manager Chris Kiwomya’s squad ahead of the tour to Finland on Wednesday.

Look out for the first interview with Haworth on Magpie Player soon.
