Winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce has always been one for the passing game and that is exactly what he got on Thursday night.
In the 3-1 triumph over Palloseura Kemi Kings, the Magpies moved the ball around at pace and created numerous good chances that could have resulted in a higher scoreline.
The benefit to Campbell-Ryce was evident, as he was a menace throughout the 90 minutes and could have had a couple of goals to his name with some impressive individual efforts.
“I thought that we moved the ball brilliantly event though we maybe played a lesser team,” the Man of the Match told Magpie Player.
“But, we didn’t take the Mickey and we kept doing the right things.
“The back four got it down and defended right, into midfield they passed the ball forwards and got our goals.
“We scored some good goals from set-pieces and it was positive all round.
“At this stage of pre-season, it’s all about fitness and obviously it’s good to get the result to build confidence.”
