Notts County youth team added another three points to their North East Youth Alliance points total with a 4-2 midweek victory over Grimsby Town youth team.
Notts' goals were scored by Malachi Lavelle-Moore (2), Kyle Dixon and Mitchell Clarke.
The scoreline marked the young Magpies' fourth consecutive win over the Mariners, despite having a number of keep players sidelined through injury.
Youth team coach Brett Adams told the official site that confidence in the camp was high after another solid display.
He said: "Every player is absolutely buzzing after the win.
"The first half saw us put in our best passing performance of the season- it was brilliant.
"We put together some great combos and our inter-play was different class.
"We had a bad 10 minutes after the break but we got our third and that settled us."
He added: "we had a lot of younger players in the squad but they came in and did well."
