Notts County urge fans to represent the club in a positive manner when travelling to away games...

Notts County would like to remind fans travelling to away games that they are expected to behave in a manner befitting of the club and with respect to the rules and regulations of both the Football League and the host venue.

The club have developed a good reputation for our sizeable travelling support in recent seasons and are welcomed at away grounds, which is something that Notts are very proud of.

However, in order to maintain this positive reputation, Notts would ask that any supporters travelling to away games conduct themselves in a manner that reflects well on the club and promotes a supportive atmosphere.

Failure to abide by the rules of any football stadium and those of the Football League can lead to supporters being removed from the ground and potentially banned from attending future fixtures.

Such actions can also lead to an increase in costs for Notts, with projected policing costs calculated on the reputation of supporters at home and away.

Any incidents directly attributable to away fans at a game can also lead to substantial fines from the Football Association, meaning that there could be further financial penalties to the club.

Notts County would therefore ask that supporters do all that they can to ensure that the focus remains on the pitch throughout every game, as we look to encourage a safe and welcoming environment for all of our fans, both at home and at all away venues.

Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated. Let’s keep it safe and supportive.
