Chris Kiwomya is calling for the Magpies to come out of the blocks early in tonight's npower League 1 clash with Bury.
The Sky television cameras will be in attendance for the match, which is Kids For A Quid (find out more here), and the caretaker boss is after a consistent performance.
Notts have followed up disappointing first-half showings with much-improved displays after the break in the last two fixtures, against Crewe and Walsall, which have both ended in 1-1 draws.
Kiwomya says that County have not given up hopes of reaching the top six but sees the next few games as crucial.
"We've still got a chance of the Play-Offs and the next three or four games are vitally important," he told the press.
"If we can get a win, then it keeps us close and I'm looking for us to go on a run.
"Every game's a perfect opportunity to get that win but the cameras come and you can play well and not win - or the other team are vitalised.
"I want to try and win every game but we need to put a consistent 90 minutes together.
"I don't want us to start slow, I want us to start quick and be on the front foot, especially at home."
